This is an awesome way for riders to showcase their talent within the industry. All athletes must have valid BC Snowboard Membership to participate in club activities.
Some of our most competitive athletes on our team who are looking to keep pushing themselves outside of Mount Washington training. We offer pre season training at whistler or grouse mountain. Start date early December (TBD). We also offer the same training but at the end of the season when Mount Washington closes. Again at either grouse or whistler mountain. Training camps run between 4-8 days long.
When the Resort is shut and everything is quite on the hill. BC Snowboard hosts a Development Camp at our home resort. Highly recommended and a low cost camp for us islanders being at home. The Camp runs Mid April and athletes may attend 4 or 8 days of the camp! This Camp has an awesome boardercross and slopestyle training.
Canada Snowboard's seven day Youth Performance Camp. Grab your boards and meet us on the Holy Bowly course at Sunshine Village, for a week of skill development on unique style features and good spring vibes. By bringing together clubs, coaches and riders from across the country along with Canada Snowboard High Performance coaches, this week-long adventure provides an epic opportunity for both coaches and riders to celebrate our sport and grow as a community.
Plan in advance and we can save on accommodations and more. This camp usually is the first week of May.
Amazing Camp hosted on the Whistler Blackcomb glacier. high end performance camp in the summer (June/July)
The Coast Club plans to attend Air house to Train on the trampoline and improve air awareness. These sessions will take place either once a week or every other week depending on our schedule. Training will start early fall and run throughout the snowboard season. this is highly recommended.
Our dryland training will consist of different snowboard themed exercises, snowboard addictions days, yoga, cardio/ weighted exercises. Our training will take place either outside at a track (weather permitted) or there are a couple different facilities throughout the valley we can use when its raining. Ideally training will be the Fridays before we train on snow Saturday.
